At the upcoming meeting of the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) in Washington, D.C., on April 24-27, many important issues are on the docket. Organic law grants NOSB sole authority to make recommendations regarding what materials are allowed in organic (those appearing on the National List), as well as recommendations on a wide variety of other topics related to organic standards.
On behalf of OSGATA, Board President Jim Gerritsen and General Manager Holli Cederholm will be attending the NOSB meeting, as well as the National Organic Coalition Pre-Meeting on Sunday, April 24.
OSGATA submitted written feedback to NOSB during the public comment window regarding several topics important to the organic seed community.
